Stress Clinic Uganda: Reflecting on 2024
As we reflect on the past year, we are proud to share the highlights from our 2024 Annual Report — a year marked by resilience, growth, and transformative impact in the communities we serve.
Stress Clinic Uganda reached 2,082 clients across our mental health, livelihood, and education programs — a 50% increase from the previous year. Our services are helping individuals and families heal, rebuild, and thrive.
Key achievements include:
- Mental Health Programs: An 89% success rate in improving mental health and psychosocial support access, including targeted programs for youth, men, and women.
- Livelihood Support: 97% of participants saw improvements in income and food security, with 540 people trained in agribusiness and 20 savings groups supported.
- Education Initiatives: We supported 240 out-of-school girls with vocational skills and improved learning outcomes in five partner schools.
This year also saw our Executive Director honored as Humanitarian Worker of the Year by Hexa Media Africa, recognizing our contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1–5 and 7.
As we look ahead to 2025, we aim to expand our donor network, launch the MindPower Youth Project, and deliver our programs with even greater efficiency and reach.
We thank our partners, donors, staff, and community for walking this journey with us.
Together, we are building a healthier, more hopeful future.
